Homework October 27,2011

I think the most important ethical issue the full disclosure of terms before the design is started for a client. All the payment, extra charges, and the rights of your work should be settled before anything starts. The licensing terms is something that should also be settled before hand along with telling the client if you are using stock artwork. Some clients may not want work that uses unoriginal artwork. I feel that many designers fail to clarify all the guidelines before work starts and end up getting trapped. If you fail to write a contract with all of this detailed information you could get into legal trouble and possibly not get paid correctly. Failing to do this could also heavily effect your relationship with the client and possibly discontinue further business with this client.
